This shows her arrogance because she is putting herself “ woman, woman-born” on the level of or higher than a born goddess. She shows this by saying “I feel the loneliness of her death in mine”. By putting herself as high as a goddess she is putting aside her belief in the gods. This shows that her undoing was her arrogance. Her arrogance led her to her death. If she had buried her brother without being showy about it, she wouldn’t have been caught. She let her pride of doing what the gods wanted get to her head. All her arrogance is shown completely in her final words and thus shows her downfall.
