Overall, I enjoyed several things with Michael Dickman's poetry reading. I admired how he performed his poetry to the audience and how he was really interactive with everyone such as calling people up to read parts of his plays. I think his poems have a very unique style, for example of how he explained to us how he became fascinated with flies and his dreams after the death of his brother. The fact that he explained the significance of flies to him helped us understand him better as a poet, and the grief he felt after brother's death. I also feel that his poems are different but very easy relate to, and that makes him a great poet.
